Meet the maker

A bead table, a loom, and a lifelong love of color.

For more than two decades, Deb has devoted herself to creating beadwork tapestries, each one the product of extraordinary patience and hundreds of hours of focused artistry. Her finely tuned “artist’s eye” comes from lifelong studying of the shapes, colors, and rhythms of the natural world. Raised in the mountains of Southern California and Colorado, she developed a deep appreciation for wild landscapes—an influence that still guides her work today. Outside the studio, Deb is an avid hiker, a committed gym enthusiast, and a passionate wordsmith with a flair for amateur detective work. She also channels her creativity into home decorating, bringing the same sense of harmony and detail to her living spaces that she brings to every bead she places.

In the studio, where every piece begins.

The story

Made patiently, with a purpose.

I make every piece by hand, beginning with a palette gathered from ordinary beauty: clay underfoot, faded flowers, river stones, and sunlight through thread.

Bead by bead and row by row, I follow the rhythm until the colors settle into something that feels balanced, wearable, and entirely its own.

The process

Slow work, full of little decisions.

01

Gather

I collect colors, textures, and small materials that feel good together before a pattern takes shape.

02

Weave

Each strand is placed by hand, making room for the subtle variations that give handmade work its character.

03

Send forward

Every finished piece is wrapped as a keepsake, ready to be worn, given, and made part of a new story.

Materials with meaning

The small things matter.

Glass seed beads

Tiny, light-catching beads chosen for their color, finish, and the way they change in natural light.

Thread & fiber

Soft, durable fibers that make the structure of each woven piece feel as considered as its surface.

Thoughtful findings

Simple clasps, hooks, and finishing details selected to let the beadwork remain the center of attention.

Made to be carried forward.

I hope each piece lands in your hands like a small reminder: someone made this slowly, and chose every detail with care.
